    Yarn Bombing 2019

I have exciting news! It’s our local community Arts Trail again, and like last time I’m yarn bombing a tree. This year each crafter could pick their own theme, so after careful consideration I have decided to yarn bomb my tree with little hats for the Innocent Big Knit campaign!

Little Songbird Knitting Co. Cellular Blanket

Sorry for the radio silence, but… I’ve had a baby! Baby ‘I’ was born in July weighing a healthy 7.11lbs! She was 1 week late, and is completely beautiful. I’ve been getting to grips with being a mummy and don’t seem to have time for much else, hence why there has been no post for the last 7 months!

    June WIPS 2018

Wow what a scorcher this summer has been so far! I could blame that on my June WIPS post actually being written in July, but the truth is I just forgot!

    April WIPS 2018

This post about my April WIPS will hopefully see the start of a new series of monthly posts where I do a monthly WIP update. I know I’ve tried to do series before and have always failed, but I’m hoping this one will be different and I’ll actually manage to stick to it!

    New Year New Knits..Kind Of

Hello! I can’t believe it’s February already! Where did January go? Happy New Year to everyone, sorry that is so late! So far 2018 is already looking to be a good year! In our most recent exciting news, we have an allotment! We got it in January and I love it already! We were really lucky because the gentleman who had it before us left it all turned over and in a really good condition, so all we need to do is some weeding, planting and semi-structural work like building some raised beds. It even has a shed!

    Crafty Wool Gift

Just under two years ago, we left London and moved back to our home town of Derby. It’s been the best move ever, but I was sad to leave behind my friends in London and also the work Craft Club, where I’d learnt to knit and had completed lots of really fun projects and learnt new skills!
